That same mechanism in your body that stops your muscles from firing at their full potential…

aught how to extract the maximum vertical jump potential, out of their bodies

The same vertical jump potential that’s allowed them to enjoy the spoils of superstardom

What’s up, I’m Chris Barnard

Head strength coach at the infamous Strength Camp here in St Pete, Florida

Over the past 6 years, I’ve made it a personal mission to dig deep into the science of the vertical jump.

My goal was to find what actually worked for developing elite vertical power.

In these years I’ve worked with 100’s of young athletes like yourself…

Each of them with the exact same intent…

DEVELOPING A MASSIVE VERTICAL JUMP

And in that time I’ve come to the stark realization, anyone…

REGARDLESS of their… HIGHT, WEIGHT, GENDER…

Or any other physical characteristic…

Has the ability to drastically improve their vertical jump power…

As long as they focus on one thing

HARNESSING THE POWER OF THE “VERTICAL RELEASE”

As I mentioned moments ago…

Everyone has the innate power to develop an impressive vertical jump that would EXCITE even the toughest scout.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of us…

Are burdened with a muscular block within our muscles which prevents us from expressing our highest vertical power potential

Few people know this but…

Your body has a protective mechanism within the muscles called the Golgi Tendon Organs (or GTO for short).

And these GTO’s act like an anchor to your vertical jump ability.

Golgi tendons sense changes in muscular tension.

And when your muscles are exposed to high levels of tension (such as a vertical jump)…

They automatically set off an inhibitory process…

FORCING YOUR MUSCLE TO RELAX

The protective mechanism is your body’s way of keeping your muscle’s from getting strained or injured.

Somehow…

Likely through their freak genetics…

Great athletes (like pictured above) have learned how to reduce the effect of the GTO receptors…

EVEN at the risk of exposing themselves to greater chance of injury.

In recent years, Exercise Scientists have discovered a special technique to not only shut off your GTO but also excite the muscle even greater…

Without exposing yourself to injury…

and the best part?

It can be used by anyone regardless their height, weight, or gender to seamlessly add inches to your vertical.

I simply coined this new breakthrough in vertical jump training…

“VERT RELEASE”

What makes “Vert Release” so special is not only does it train to decrease the inhibitory effect of the GTO but it nails the additional 4 steps responsible for an explosive vertical jump… all at the same time.

Here’s How It Works…

Step #1: Increase the Stretch Reflex

The Stretch Reflex is when your muscle contracts in response to being stretched.

Remember those GTO’s I was talking about? The same that shut the muscle down when it senses too much force?

Well, there is an opposing mechanism that senses when the muscle is being lengthened and it goes to work contracting the muscle…

In the same sense it feels it is in danger of injury.

If you want to gain a higher vertical jump you MUST focus on decreasing the effect of the GTO’s while maximizing the excitement effect of the Muscle Spindles.

Both of these mechanisms combined make up the “STRETCH REFLEX”

Step #2: Increase the Stretch Shortening Cycle

The “Stretch Shortening Cycle” (SSC) acts like a slingshot within your muscle..

When a muscle lengthens, it builds up elastic energy…think like a rubber band.

The energy is released when the muscle is immediately forced to shorten (like a vertical jump)

The sequence of lengthening, building-up, and releasing in itself is responsible for an impressive vertical jump.

But if we want to take it even further…

We must start by shutting down the GTO (as outlined in Step #1), increase the SSC and pair that with Step #3…

Step #3: Increase Motor Unit Recruitment

A motor unit is a motor neuron and the muscle fibers it innervates.  Groups of motor units work together to coordinate the contractions of a single muscle;

Motor Unit Recruitment is a measure of how many motor neurons are activated in a particular muscle, and therefore is a measure of how many muscle fibers of that muscle are activated.

The higher the recruitment the stronger the muscle contraction.

In the past athletes have tried a variety of different methods in an attempt to increase their motor unit recruitment with little to no success.

In recent years, we have discovered the best way to increase motor unit recruitment is to spend a significant amount of time strengthening the muscles at their isometric phase in correlation to the specific range of motion they utilize in competition.

By doing this we figure out which specific ranges that particular athlete must train in to recruit the highest motor units…

And display the explosive power throughout the entire movement.

Step #4: Increase Your Rate of Force Development

The 4th and final step to developing an awe-inspiring vertical jump is…

Speeding up your Rate of Force Development.

Rate of Force Development (RFD) relates to how quickly you generate muscular force.

It is determined by how fast your muscle fibers are recruited, activated, and synchronized to perform a movement.

The key to increasing RFD is to generate as much force as possible at the beginning of a muscular movement before the Stretch Shortening Cycle comes in and robs the muscle of that potential energy.

INTRODUCING THE FLIGHT SYSTEM

The Flight System is the first jump training system which takes the 4 steps of vertical jump mastery and combines them into one step-by-step approach to progressively adding inches to your vertical jump.

The beauty of this NEW APPROACH is it harnesses the power of Vertical Release technology by taking the brakes off the GTO…

That same mechanism in your body that stops your muscles from firing at their full potential…

Then goes to work focusing all your energy on improving your 4 vertical jump weak spots, hammering them over and over again until they bust open…
